Portfolio Call lets game studios quickly post their creative needs for artists to see and submit their portfolios for review. It’s a straightforward way for game studios to describe exactly what they’re looking for and for artists to find gigs that match their skills.

How to Use Portfolio Call

For Game Studios

  • Add a Portfolio Call: Head over to the ‘Shortlist’ page tab and click “Post a Portfolio Call””
  • Fill in Request Details: Pop in all the important stuff about your gig: 
    • Title: What’s this gig called?
    • Category: What kind of art are you looking for? Is it 3D or 2D? Character design? Environment art?
    • Style: What style are you looking for?
    • Seniority Level: Need a newbie or a pro?
    • Description: Describe in a nutshell what needs to be done. Stuck on words? Click the ‘Write with AI’ button for a little nudge in the right direction.
  • View Submissions: After you post your gig, it’ll show up as a card on the Portfolio Call tab.
  • Manage Submissions: Check out who’s interested in your gig. You can review their portfolios, reorder submissions, chat with artists, or even mark someone as ‘Not Interested’ if they don’t quite fit the bill.
  • Edit Requests: Changed your mind about something? No worries! You can go back and tweak the title or description anytime.

For Artists

  • Don’t forget to check your email inbox from time to time; you’ll receive notifications about new relevant gigs there.
  • Browse the gigs available in the Portfolio Call section.
  • Find one that suits your style and expertise? Submit your portfolio directly to the client!
